You will spend almost ten days travelling and absorbing the diversity of eco tourism in Ghana and have the opportunity to understand the culture and rich heritage of the country and its inhabitants.
You will also get to view a beautiful mix of natural landscapes and flora and fauna, including waterfalls, mountains, monkeys and butterflies.
We will let you blend in with the local people and make friends. From the capital city of Accra to rural areas in the depth of the Volta Region, you'll come to appreciate community life in a typical African setting.
You will be provided with a unique perspective on the history of Ghana and stark evidence of the trade in African slaves to the Americas. This tour allows you to re-live one of the greatest crimes perpetrated by man against his fellow men.
At the end of your tour, we guarantee that you will leave with fond memories of Ghana.

Day 1:
Arrival in Accra where you will be welcomed at the Kotoka International Airport and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2:
Orientation and registration at the various Embassies, and an afternoon tour of the city, taking you to the W.E.B Dubois Center Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, National Museum and other places of interest.
Day 3:
The tour departs for the Volta Region through the Shai Hills, for game viewing, and a tour of the Shai Caves. Lunch will be arranged on the banks of the lower Volta River. The journey continues to Hohoe, with an afternoon stop over at the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary. Overnight accommodation will be arranged in a local hotel.
Day4:
A visit to the traditional rice storage caves and to find the mystery behind the mysterious palm tree. If time permits, we will then hike to Akpong Falls.
Day5:
Relax at the famous Wli Waterfall, enjoy a walking trail through the Agumatsa sanctuary. The sanctuary is situated amidst a thick semi-deciduous forest straddling two rivers a total of nine times with a large variety of bird life and butterflies. At the waterfall, thousands of straw coloured fruit bats nest at the adjacent cliffs. At the foot of the waterfall, there is a large pool with inviting waters that are perfect for a swim.
Day6:
Another day of hiking after breakfast to the Afajato Mountain. This mountain is shaped like a traditional yam mound and covered with a luxuriant tropical forest. It is an area well known for its bio-diversity, richness and myriad species of mammals and butterflies. Return to Accra where you will stay overnight.
Day7:
The tour departs for the Central Region, Cape Coast and Elmina, the home of Castles, and Heritage Sites. Enjoy a breathtaking walk on the Kakum Canopy Walkway, a bridge of ropes suspended high on top of the trees during you overnight stay in Elmna.
Day8:
The tour takes you to Assin Manaso Slave River and returns to Accra where you will spend the night.
Day9:
This day is meant for leisure and relaxation at the beach and shopping and is the last day of the tour.
Day 10:
The group departs back to their hotels.
